News is available through more media than ever before and for 24 hours a day. Yet much of it sounds the same. Are media giving people the kind of news they need? In the 21st century, is the media's traditional role of reporting “facts” still relevant? Is it the time for media to become “guide dogs” instead of “watchdogs”?
